Alternative, more scenic route via the spectacular new bridge at Millau (and cheaper tolls) is A26, A1 to Paris, A10 (Orleans), A71 (Clermont-Ferand) A75 (Millau) N9, A9 exit Sigean after Narbonne (see below).

Montpellier (2 hours drive) Flights from: Stansted (RA) and Gatwick (EJ).

Toulouse (2½ hours drive) Flights from: Gatwick (EJ), Bristol (EJ), Leeds (J2), Manchester (BMI), Birmingham (FB), Edinburgh (J2) and Belfast (J2).

Girona (2 hours drive) Flights from: Luton (RA), Gatwick (RA), Stansted (RA), Bournemouth (RA), East Midlands (RA), Liverpool (RA), Blackpool (RA), Glasgow (RA), Dublin (RA), Shannon (RA), Bristol (RA), Doncaster (RA), Leeds (RA), Durham (RA), Newcastle (RA) and Prestwick (RA) - don't forget some Euros for the motorway tolls.

Travel by Rail: motor-rail to Narbonne (under an hour's drive from Tuchan) or Eurostar to Lille or Paris and TGV to Montpellier or Narbonne.
